The DFL Resource Centre is the first initiative of its kind in Africa. It is dedicated to the archiving of the arts and its relationship to indigenous culture and HIV and AIDS. It is space in which staff and students have access to a multitude of materials.

The DFL Resource Centre is committed to developing and experimenting in new areas of research and research techniques, exploring new frameworks within applied drama and theatre paradigms. Multi-model forms of documentation and archiving will ensure that monitoring and evaluation for DFL will be recorded by the researchers of the centre.
