DFL Lover + Another Poetry Challenge 2011
June 21, 2011 DFL Lover + Another Poetry Challenge is an innovative poetry competition aimed at encouraging young people to talk openly and creatively about SEX, RELATIONSHIPS and HIV and AIDS. The 2011 Drama for Life Lover + Another Poetry Challenge will be hosted across the country, in Kwa-Zulu Natal, Cape Town and Gauteng. All regions will be having their regional finals in August 2011respectively, and then on the 2nd of September Johannesburg will host the National Grand Finale which will be a media spectacle during the DFL Sex Actually Festival.
The DFL Lover + Another Poetry Challenge invites University students, youth (17 –35 years old) in our community to produce and perform original pieces of performance poetry that speak to the social, psychological and physical implications of having multiple sexual relationships and HIV and AIDS.
2011 promises to be BIGGER & SPECTACULAR for the DFL Lover + Another Poetry Challenge. Get ready to let your inspiration grow, the ink flow and ignite this city with your wit, charm, razor tongue and sharp words.
