Zimbabwe

Bheki, born November 27 1971, holds a BA Honours in Theatre Arts, from the University of Zimbabwe, as well as a diploma in Training Management and a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management, from the Institute of Personnel Management in Zimbabwe.

Bheki has acted in three Zimbabwean Television dramas: in the popular soap opera Amakorokoza he played AK; in Hlengiwe Mntanami he played Francis and in Izenzo, he played Makhosisini. In 2005 Bheki was nominated for the National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA) in the category of Best Television Actor. Bheki has also been involved with playwriting, having written the television script Izenzo, which was screened on ZTV, in 2005.

He has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources (HR), having worked as HR manager for several Zimbabwean companies, including: Turnall Fibre Cement, INNSCOR Africa, AFrica Sun, G& D Shoes, as well as the Plumtree local Authority.

Currently completing his Masters in Dramatic Art through Drama for Life, at Wits, Bheki is driven in everything he does by a desire to excel and to make a difference in the lives of people around him.
