Zimbabwe

Clayton Mboneli Ndlovu was born on the April 1 1971. He grew up in Bulawayo in a family of five boys. Clayton joined Amakhosi Theater Productions where he was trained in Community Theatre. In 1989, he did a Diploma in Ethnomusicology at Zimbabwe College of Music in Harare. He then did his Bachelor of Music Degree in Ethnomusicology at Africa University. Clayton has been with the Zimbabwe College of Music since 1989 and has progressed to the position of Deputy Director of the institution.
Clayton has been actively involved in the arts industry as a Lecturer, Dancer, Actor, Poet, Choreographer, Director, Manager, Consultant, and Producer in many events. He has acted in the award winning film, Lumumba as well as in Studio 263, a soapy that focuses on HIV and AIDS where, he played a leading role. Currently he is studying for a Maters Degree in Dramatic Art – applied Drama through Drama for Life at Wits University.
