Cletus Moyo

Zimbabwe

Cletus Moyo, born April 1, 1984, at Plumtree, Zimbabwe, has been intensively involved in the art industry as a performer, designer, writer, administrator and teacher. He holds a B.A Honours in Theatre Arts from the University of Zimbabwe.

Cletus has worked as a graduate teaching assistant for the University of Zimbabwe and as a course coordinator and lecturer for Amakhosi Performing Arts Academy (APAA). He has also worked with Thabo Arts Assembly (TAA); a theatre organisation that promotes theatre at grassroots level and uses theatre to address issues affecting young people.

Cletus also writes and performs his own poetry.

He is currently studying towards his Masters in Dramatic Art at Wits, though Drama for Life and he sees this as an opportunity for intense growth within Theatre.
