Kiswigu Bernard Mpyanga

Kiswigu Mpyanga is currently a Drama for life scholar at Witswatersrand University in Johannesburg, South Africa working towards her Honours Degree. She studied drama in Tanzania and Sweden in 1982 where she established herself as a professional performer. She worked as a consultant in theatre for community and art for development for many years in Tanzania. Mpyanga is also a specialist in arts and culture management, proactive in ant AIDS campaigns through education and theatre. Her area of research is on investigating skills and knowledge of HIV and AIDS intervention theatre facilitators.

Her dream is to continue furthering her studies and continue imparting skills to community groups in Tanzania and other countries in Southern Africa.
