Zambia

Mary Mutinta Manzole, born in 1971, is a performer, facilitator and trainer whose work combines theatre and African dance. She completed her secondary education in the eastern part of Zambia and in 1990 spearheaded the formation of Kamoto Community Arts, where she is artistic director. She got involved with Screen theatre in 1994 and eventually attained a certificate in pre-school teaching within the Zambia National Service.

She has been a theatre for development practitioner and is currently pursuing an Honours degree with the Drama For life programme, researching applied drama processes as a behavioural change tool among HIV and AIDS performers and facilitators.
