Richard Mwanza, 36, holds a General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level, (GCEO), as well as certificates in Journalism, Sign Language and SADC Honorary Diploma (1997). He strongly respects and believes that community issues or problems have community solutions.

Richard enjoys acting, adjudicating, directing and facilitating group discussions. He analyses and critiques Theatre for Development (TFD) plays and players for the purposes of creating a culture of positive change in both communities and communicators. His passion is working with less privileged communities on issues of corruption, human rights abuses and HIV and AIDS.   

Currently, Richard is studying towards his BA Honours in Drama, through drama for life, at Wits.
